Homeworkers and home-based businesses: please help us to help you!
This survey is for people who are self-employed or run a business from home in the UK. Please take part so we can fully understand this growing sector's needs - and use the findings to feed back to Government and those who provide services to homeworkers.

We already know from government surveys that over 40% of all businesses are now home-based. More and more people are running a business from home.
The advantages of homeworking (such as lower costs and convenience) are well documented. But little has been done to date to help homeworkers deal with the possible disadvantages.
One option that is proving increasingly popular is the idea of a 'workhub'. Workhubs are places that can offer users workspace, technical equipment, virtual office services and opportunities to network and collaborate with other people - as and when you want.
The purpose of this survey is to find out whether such a facility in your area might appeal to people like you - and if so, what kind of services/facilities would work best.
