Description of the research project
The HealthInfoNet is required to gather user feedback from its web resource as part of the reporting requirements for funding received from a range of funding bodies including the Australian Department of Health. All data gathered online is anonymous. Individuals cannot be identified.
The outcomes of the research will lead to enhancements to the HealthInfoNet web resource. These enhancements may lead to improved access, speed, navigability and information quality and will further enhance the capacity of the HealthInfoNet to develop the resources to further support workers in the area of Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander health.
In order to assess changes and developments over time the information you provide in this survey may be used in future studies for comparison purposes.
What you will be required to do.
Your participation is entirely voluntary. If you proceed to the online survey you will be asked a series of questions about your use of the HealthInfoNet web resource. Will also ask some questions about you to enable us to better understand who our users are and which sector they work in. You cannot be identified from the information you provide online in the survey. The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. If you proceed to and complete the survey, this indicates your informed consent to participate in the research.
As a token of our appreciation for your participation you may choose to submit an entry for our prize draw of either a $350 Gift Voucher of an iPad Mini. Please note that if you enter the draw, the Online Survey will preserve your anonymity.
Results of the Survey
The results obtained from the survey will be analysed and a report will be posted on the web resource. The results may also be presented at conferences and in journal articles.
